The making
Thrown, trimmed, fired twice
Our most-loved shape. The Ash Carafe is thrown in one pull, trimmed at leather-hard and glazed in a wood-ash recipe that breaks pale over the shoulder and pools grey at the foot.
It holds a full litre — water at the table, cold brew in the fridge, a few branches of olive on the windowsill. The lip is cut and sanded by hand so it pours clean every time.
